Does cheap make up destroy your face?

actually that is not true, at least on the walmart or target brands. pretty much with expensive make up your just paying more for the brand. but if you take a look at the ingredients of the ';expensive'; make up, you can actually find the same ingredients on a cheaper make up without paying so much for it. . .

SO pretty much just compare ingredient and you will find there's no such thing as cheap make up its all the same stuff.Does cheap make up destroy your face?
It won't necessarily ';destroy'; your face, but when it comes down to make-up, most of the time price is quality. What goes on your skin, goes in your skin. Cheap cosmetics can look cheap, as well as do the OPPOSITE of what you're trying to acheive with your makeup: i.e. accentuate fine lines, wrinkles, pores; clog pores and worsen acne, breakouts, and blackheads; lipstick can feather more easily; little to no pigment due to ';fillers'; like talc; etc.

Things to look out for are parabens and petrochemicals. Parabens are preservatives and petrochemicals are from when products are petrolium based. There are pleanty of drugstore brands that are paraben and petrochemical free, but mostly I'd recommend brands like Bare Escentuals, Aveda, Fresh, Juice Beauty, and Carol's Daughter.

Another thing to look out for when shopping for cosmetics (and any type of product in general) is the lingo that the USDA allows companies to use. ';Natural'; products only need to be 7% of natural origin, ';made with organic materials'; products only need to be 70% of natural origin, and ';organic'; and ';certified organic'; need to be 95%+ organic.

Not to mention it's just more eco-friendly. PlantLove by Cargo will plant a tree everytime someone purchases a lipstick. Their packaging, as well as Aveda and Organic Wear by Physicians Formula is biodegrateable and/or recycleable. Aveda's plant is located in Blaine, MN and uses all 100% wind power to create and manufacture their products.

Some other cheaper, drugstore brands had things like lead in their mascaras, and were actually fighting so that they didn't have to take it out.

While some ingredients may be the same, ratios and quality are not. An industry insider tip, most department store brands are made in the same factories as drug store brands, but the drug store brands are often the ';off batches'; (the batches that didn't turn out quite right...that's actually how box hair colour started being sold), or are made with the old, left-over, and slightly contaminated ingredients as the more expensive brands.

Most of the time, spending a little bit more on your makeup is worth it in the log run.Does cheap make up destroy your face?
i think so,

if i had ten dollars to spend on makeup i would rather spend it on some nice mascara rather than a foundation and some eyeshadow..

some of the chemicals in cheap makeup can irritate your skin or make it oily, the eyeliners won't sharpen properly or smudge and well the lipsticks taste gross.

i never buy cheap makeup anymore.
of course ,that deepens on yr skin...

i for example use both(expensive and cheep)and i am very satisfied with both

i take cheap products for the one i use every day and little expensive for the one i use for special occasions...why%26gt;?well....because the ones i use every day are finishing fast, because u use them daily and clean them from yr face every evening....so,whats the point to have expensive?the cheap is cheap because does not stay so long on yr face/eyes...but for daily use are perfect...they stay long enough...

and when i must have a good look for longer time.like traveling ore parties(of any kind-club,birthdays...) i use the expensive ones,so i now for shire i have a good look longer and i don't haft to carry the makeup bag with me.

so i hope this helped...:)
it depends what kinda cheap brand your talking

maybelline and covergirl and all that are fine

but if its like 5 dollars foundation then yeah i wouldnt use itt
Let's just say cheap makeup is not recommended for your face.
