tjmaxxxxxx all the way ! i got mine yesterday %26amp;%26amp; they were $5 ! great brushes too =]
Hmm, I'm quite certain there is a Superdrug in Scotland. Superdrug stocks a brand called NYC, which is very inexpensive and has two sets of brushes, both sets are in the 拢2-拢5 brands.

I've posted the links too. See if they help out.

Luck.

Ruby %26amp; Millie have really nice brushes. I would check out Boots and see if they have any of their gift sets on offer in the sales. I bought a travel set before Christmas for my friend and it was 拢15, so at 拢7.50 would be a real bargain.

Try not to go too low as the brushes shed hair and are really no good at all then.
well der was a cheap set of brushes in superdrug for 拢4.99 b4 xmas. it consisted of al du brushes u cld fink of!! if der r stil sumleft dey wil b even cheaper nw wif al du sales on. the onli problem is dat i live in northern ireland bt der myt b a superdrug in scotland???wel gud luk in findin du brushes dey r veri gud n cheap
Target sells a nice set, so does Ulta. Be wary of super cheap brushes though - they are more trouble than they are worth, especially if you end up with small bristles all over your face.
E.L.F. products are really good... I just got a bunch for $1 each. They sell them at Drugstores, I think, or you can get them online.

Boots the Chemist have a wide range with good value packs of brushes and sponges.
Super drugs, Pound stretchers, Woolworth's,
i have heard of some make up artist who use brushes that they buy at crafts stores .. like Michaels .. the brushes are just as good as max or those other place and half the price you should check that out .. it would be a twist on the normal brushes set ..

I also live in Glasgow and you can get good brushes in Boots, Superdrug or The Body Shop.
superdrug, i just bought a big set of brushes for just 拢1.99

it was reduced from 拢7.99 and there really gud, there all different in size and theres a really gud blusher brush in it. Complete bargain, my only regret now is that i didnt buy 2 of them.
I have bought a big set of brushes at Walmart a few months back. Comes with it all and I am sure that it was under $10!
try the body shop, boots, superdrug, any shop that sell make up will have brushes for it as well
