NYC is cheap but quality low, I use it as heavy stage makeup





I suggest you splurge on a good foundation like almay or neutrogena and then save on everything else.


Theory is that the foundation and powder is next to your skin so it should be good quality so you don't cause skin problems but the rest sits on top of the foundation.
almay's natural line or loreal's mineral line are both good. also physician's formula organic line.





all of them you can usually find on sale or on some sort of promotion. if you shop at rite aid most of them allow returns on opened and used makeup if it wasnt the color you wanted.
I personally LOVE NYC- I love their 94 cent eyeliner better than some $6 and up eyeliner! Also, Covergirl has some good things too! :))) If, you want to go online I would probably choose E.L.F! Everything is a $1! Some other good sites that have some good deals or reasonable prices are:
