Im going to be a jr.high student next year btw YAY!! lol and i need some make up tips and a few brands cause im a bright person and i like make up but not too much. lol and i need to learn some new like little tips on how to look bright i look like the walking dead in the morning haha. also put white eyeliner on the inside edges of the eyes to make yourself look awake in the morning - it DOES work!!

Since you're young I would consider trying drug store brands first and then go onto the big brands once you are more well adjusted.
Some of these you can find at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc:
L'Oreal - They have a WIDE range of makeup. Plenty of powder foundation/concealer, brightening makeup, eye makeup, lip and tools to use for your everyday.
CoverGirl - CG has A LOT of makeup. Though not all of it is ';high quality';.. their mascara is really nice.
Neutrogena - They not only sell skin care products, they sell cosmetics too! And because they know how fragile and sensitive a girl's face can get, their make up will understand that a girl does not tolerate oil and break-outs!
Revlon - They have plenty of bright colors for that natural, every day look!
Milani Cosmetics - Some of the stuff can get pricey (like their runway eye shadows) but amazing quality!
Nyx - Their liquid eyeliners are nice, and their lip stick + lip gloss duo is amazing!
Maybelline - Pretty sure you've seen their commercials. Love their mascara! They're owned by L'Oreal so it's basically very similar.
Physicians Formula - Very nice mineral wear for every day! They also have organic wear, which is good for our environment! They are a bit pricey for drug store but so worth it!
Rimmel London - Can get pricey, but their eyeliners are pretty nice! Amazing bronzers!

Here are some other ones I'll just throw out there:
MAC cosmetics - Expensive, high quality, and AMAZING. Very high pigmented.
Sephora - They carry their own brand, and possibly over 40 others! Like DIOR for example. (Can range from affordable to broke)
Urban Decay - Amazing pigments on the eye shadows and eye liners!
Well, I hope I've helped. You can always just ask your mom or aunt or cousin or maybe some friends to recommend you to some products!
ALSO:
If you haven't heard of them, ELF cosmetics (stands for eyes.lips.face)! They sell makeup for 1$. You name it. Brushes, Lips, Eyes, Face. They even have TONS of online coupons and they're right now in the middle of their FIVE year anniversary. They're giving things away like MAD!
They're not like MAC high quality (though I believe some things they sell are SUPER close [brushes]). But for something so cheap, you've got to try.
I've ordered a ton of eye shadows, brushes and all over cover sticks and so far I'm impressed. I'm ordering again soon :)
(Also: Their Studio/Mineral/Sugar Kiss line can vary from 3$ - 8$ for products)

This is what I use that's great for school: (btw you can get this at the drug store or grocery store)
Maybelline New York Dream mousse blush (color-gentle pink/pink frosting)
Neutrogena Nourishing Eye quad (colors in it- pink, purple, and navy blue)
clear/light pink lip gloss (I also use Sally Hanson Lip Inflation with the color Sheer Blush)
Lash Blast mascara
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Bronzing Veil in bronze organics
I know it sounds like a lot but it makes you look really pretty and it doesn't look like you put a lot on :) Good luck :)
Use a simple brand like Maybeline or Covergirl. I use it and it works amazing =]
Also don't EVER but a lot of make like eyeshadow or powder. It will make you look like a birthday cake.
By an eyelash curler and curl BEFORE you apply mascara.
When applying eyeshadow, apply to only below the crease of your eyelid.
If possible, try to stay simple with like just eyeliner, lipgloss and moisturizer becasue you really don't look that bad.
Before you go to bed, put vaseline on your lips so that when you wake up, it will be soft and moissturized. Or, put a thin coat of lip balm before lip gloss.
If you want shine, go for lip gloss. A more matte look is for lipstick peeps.
Don't tweeze your eyebrows too much or else you'll like end up with none.

you should go to seventeen.com and check out there tips from there,
you look pretty in your myspace pic so you don't have to go all out, mascara and eyeliner will keep you bright not liek you said like walking dead lol,
but anyway, if you wanna experiment using foundation and concealer, try to buy those mineral ones so you won't breakout or something,
but for your skint his things are not necessary.
The mascara will make your eyes pop specially if you use a curler, and it'll make you look awake with the eyeliner that goes with it too:]
